ABOUT DAVE

Dave is a husband to wife Mary Lou, and is a proud father of four children and one new grandchild. His son Randy is 30 and works as a lawyer in Colorado Springs. Dave's son Geoffrey is 28 and attending medical school with his family. Dave also has two daughers, Aimee who is 20 and Lacee who is 18. Both daughters currently live in Colorado Springs.

Dave is the Real Estate Broker for Ankeney, Inc., which operates as an independent Metro Brokers, Inc. Company. Mr. Ankeney graduated Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education. He is also a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), which is considered to be the "Ph.D. of Commercial Real Estate".

Mr. Ankeney is currently or has been a member of The Pikes Peak Association of Realtors, Colorado Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Realtors Commercial Industrial Society, RCIS Meetings Committee, RCIS Program Committee, RCIS Education Committee, PPAR Commercial MLS Committee, Downtown Toastmasters, Fellowship Bible Church, and New Life Church.

An honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Ankeney carried a top secret clearance, and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Ankeney formerly owned and operated his own health club business. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the Pikes Peak area, and is sincerely optimistic about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Dave's favorite pastime is playing tennis, in which he is very competitive at the USTA 4.0 rating level. Feel free to challenge him to a match anytime!
